Welcome to The Clubroom Waitemata. Our goal is to service all members and visitors of Waitemata Golf Club to the best of our ability. From greeting you with a friendly smile, to providing you with information on all product in store, to dealing with any golf related queries. Our team will do our best to cater for everyones needs.

 

The shop will stock the latest and greatest product from Ping, Titleist, Mizuno and Wilson, along with apparel associated with those brands and a range of accessories. We have a new $30,000 launch monitor as part of our club fitting arsenal. This piece of equipment helps us to fully customise a club or a set to you and your golf game.

We currently hold the fitting kits for Ping and Titleist (with the Newton Road store holding Mizuno, Wilson, Ping and Titleist), so come in and see the team and we'll look after you the best we can! 

 

 

 

 Hi everyone! My name is Jason and I'm the Shop Manager and Golf Operations Manager for Waitemata Golf Club. I'm a golfer myself, playing off a +2.0 handicap. I've represented North Harbour in the Open Grade Men's team since 2010, playing number one and captaining the side from 2013-2016. I've also represented New Zealand at the Master of the Amateurs tournament at Royal Melbourne in 2016. I have a degree in Communications with a major in Journalism, which I have previously put into practice working with Radio Sport and the Holden Golf World on Sky TV.

 

My job is to run the shop, look after all club golf matters, field any golf related queries you may have, and to fit you into whatever clubs or equipment you may need.

My goal is to get to know everyone at the club and ensure that everyone walks away satisfied and with a smile on their face.

 

 

 

 

 

Hi. Im Brad Shilton, head professional at the Waitemata Golf Club. 

Following 13 years as a touring professional I'm excited to be taking on this new role. I'm really enjoying my time at the club so far, working with the guys from The Clubroom, getting to know the members and settling in to the way the club is run.

I look forward to meeting more of you and helping out with your golf where I can. My goal is to help make sure everyone is having a great time and getting the most out of their experience at the club, whether through coaching, equipment advice or general pro shop service.

Not only has my years as a developing young man I've also won the Club Championship as well as represented the club for regional events, Frank Nobilo pennants team and New Zealand golf events.
